Nominate a Restaurant: FT Weekend Business Lunch Awards 2025

Welcome to the nomination portal for the FT Weekend Business Lunch Awards, in partnership with OpenTable. We invite FT readers to put forward the restaurants where conversation and cuisine truly meet.

In this inaugural year, the Awards will celebrate restaurants in and around London across five categories: Best Food, Best Atmosphere, Best New Opening, Best Out-of-Town Option, plus the Judge’s Choice Award.

By submitting a nomination, you’ll also be entered into our exclusive prize draw to be among the first to enjoy a Lunch for Two at the newly reopened Simpson’s on the Strand in early 2026.

    Eligibility and Nomination Guidelines:

Who Can Nominate: Readers are encouraged to nominate restaurants they’ve eaten at. Entries from restaurants themselves will be discarded.
Restaurant Location: All restaurants must be in the Greater London area, with the exception of the “out-of-town” category, which must be easily reachable in a day trip from London.
Deadline for Nominations: All nominations must be submitted digitally by 24 October 2025.
Selection Process: The shortlist will be announced at the end of October, with winners revealed at a special Awards Lunch in December 2025, hosted by FT restaurant critic Jay Rayner.

    How to Nominate:

Entry Form: Complete the form below with details of your chosen restaurant(s).
Tell Us Why: Share what makes your nomination stand out - whether it’s the food, the ambience, or the conversation it inspires.
Submit Your Nomination: You may nominate more than one restaurant if they meet the award criteria.
Prize Draw Entry: Every valid nomination counts as an entry into the prize draw.
